National Automotive Innovation Centre
Located at the University of Warwick, in Coventry, the National Automotive Innovation Centre (NAIC) is one of Europe’s largest automotive research and development centres, bringing together UK national and international expertise into a single building.
NAIC provides 33,000m2 of cutting-edge workshops, laboratories, virtual engineering suites and exhibition spaces. As home to over 1,000 researchers, engineers and designers from Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), Tata Motors and WMG, it was established to provide a collaborative hub for industry and academia to help shape the future of a sustainable automotive industry through cross- fertilisation and knowledge sharing.
Maynard was commissioned to develop NAIC’s digital-ready wayfinding system. Our brief was to support the collaborative ethos and innovative vision for the new building, providing an exciting and intuitive experience for people navigating this landmark facility.
