Infographics don’t necessarily have to be static.
With more and more information being broadcast and read online this has opened up an opportunity for animated infographics to convey the message. In some respects it makes it easier for complex information to be digested in a step by step way – drip feeding information through to the viewer.
When Christian Borstlap, a creative based in Holland, designed a series of stamps in collaboration with a Dutch children’s welfare charity, he didn’t stop there.
The Children’s Stamp is a charity focused on the promotion of children’s education. Working with the Dutch postal service TNT Post, the organisation has previously commissioned stamp sets that have helped to fund projects that support vulnerable children – the last of which raised more than 9.5m Euros for educational projects.
Additionally, the new stamps have been brought to life in a sweet two minute animation which was awarded with a D&AD Yellow Pencil, a Golden European Design award, a Dutch Design Award and a Silver Lamp.
