Crossrail Brand Guidelines
Crossrail is the new high frequency, convenient and accessible railway for London and the South East. From 2018 Crossrail will reduce crowding on London's transport network, carrying more than 1500 passengers per train during peak periods.
Whilst having a good set of project brand guidelines, there was a strong need to consider how the Crossrail brand could evolve from a transport project into a fully integrated service provider. We were asked to create a set of brand interim guidelines exploring the ways in which the Crossrail vision could expand beyond its current boundaries to become a strong contender within the transport service sector. We felt very strongly that the brand should express the diversity that it offers in terms of its geography and convenience, and the vibrance of the places and people it will touch.
Application of the brand guidelines is on hold, however the tone of voice they express has now been largely adopted by the Crossrail Art programme.
